I Love Drawing Outdoors

And indoors! This year I’m hosting one low pressure all ages public art event per month in the Hudson Valley, outside when possible.

Next one: Sunday February 9, TBD 3 PM- 5 PM at restaurant in or near Peekskill.

I’ll be announcing these once per month, so sign up for my newsletter if you like planning ahead. Some Drawing Out events this year might include some rainy day restaurant sketching, a Bear Mountain Bridge study, Perspective in Peekskill, Farmers Market people watching, Plein Air at Little Stony Point, and Manitoga Mountain Laurels in May. (Looking forward to that one!)

Invite Drawing Out to your Venue!

    I teach grades 6-12 in after school arts classes at New Era Creative Space.

    Upcoming 2025 classes include Digital Art Advanced and Foundations on Wednesdays, and Winter Comics Workshop on Tuesdays.

    Mentorship meetings priced on a sliding scale to help young artists with big plans, ongoing or one-off.

    Let’s set some art goals, make your portfolio presentable, and decode college websites and Common App forms to find the right fit.

    Want to level up your drawing skills, learn a new digital workflow, or just enjoy a relaxing hobby?

    Private lessons in drawing, painting, or Procreate cost $75 for a 90 minute lesson.

    Group lessons cost $35 per person for groups of 3 or more.

We’ll start a new 6 week session in March, TBD March 21 - April 26

$210 per person, with 20% going to NECS for space, support, and equipment.

I love teaching laid-back, all-ages groups of artists!

If you’ve got the people, I’ve got an art party fit for the occasion. I’ll bring the supplies and lead a 90-minute art lesson that’ll leave everyone smiling.
