I Love Drawing Outdoors

And indoors! I’m hosting one public art event per month in the Hudson Valley, outside when possible.

Next up: Sunday March 23, TBD 3 PM- 5 PM at restaurant in or near Peekskill. If it’s sunny, we’ll go out to the waterfront!

I’ll be announcing these once a month, so sign up for my newsletter if you like planning ahead. Some Drawing Out events this year might include some rainy day restaurant sketching, a Bear Mountain Bridge study, Perspective in Peekskill, Farmers Market people watching, Plein Air at Little Stony Point, and Manitoga Mountain Laurels in May. (Looking forward to that one!)

    I teach grades 6-12 in after school arts classes at New Era Creative Space.

    Upcoming 2025 classes include Digital Art Advanced and Foundations on Wednesdays, and Winter Comics Workshop on Tuesdays.

Digital Art for Adults

We’ll start a new 6 week session on Fridays March 28 - May 2. We’ll do a daytime class this time, from 1 PM - 2:30 PM.

With 6 iPads provided by NECS, I’ll lead you on a 6-week tour of the powerful drawing software, Procreate. I’ll adapt my lessons to your art goals as your skills build, and we’ll discuss practical ways to import and export your work for print and publication.

$210 per person, with 20% going to NECS for space, support, and equipment.

How About a Paint Night?

I love teaching laid-back, all-ages groups of artists!

If you’ve got the people, I’ve got an art party fit for the occasion. I’ll bring the supplies and lead a 90-minute art lesson that’ll leave everyone smiling.
